United censor Rooney's hatred for Liverpool:
Wayne Rooney has fanned the flames ahead of Saturday's crunch Premier League showdown with Liverpool at Old Trafford by revealing he "hates" Liverpool.
The striker, who came through the youth ranks of city rivals Everton, made the comments to Manchester United's television station, MUTV, and they were then posted on the club's official website.
But United have now removed the comments from the site, fearing they could prove to be inflammatory ahead of a match which has one of the fiercest rivalries in the world game.
Rooney said: "We're in pole position in the title race and we know if we can beat Liverpool then that'll more or less end their chances of winning the league. I'm very excited about the game because I grew up as an Everton fan hating Liverpool - and that hasn't changed."

Its amazing... Liverpool fans, chelsea fans as well as arsenal fans dont say such things about other clubs.... all these sick behaviour by professional players always come from MAN UNITED.

Not only the PLAYERS but the FANS too are childish, sore losers and unsporting. They will never admit defeat and will always protect their team like a bunch of losers. They have no respect for other football clubs. Even chelsea, described as being arrogant, are not as unsporting, childish and dirty like MAN UNITED are.

This saturday, MAN UNITED take on Liverpool.
This will be a big big game for both teams. Anything can happen in this game. It is too unpredictable.
Both teams went through mid week into the quarter finals of the champions league, after liverpool romped real madrid 4-0 at anfield with an aggregrate score of 5-0 as liverpool won 1-0 at the bernabeu. MAN UNITED won 2-0 at home to inter milan. Which means they go through too..
This game.. between MAN UNITED and LIVERPOOL will be a cruncher and justice must be done.... if LIVERPOOL win.. justice is served and good prevails. if MAN UNITED win.... evil wins..... it cannot happen.... we'll see what happens...
Hope nobody gets offended with this..... i think even some MAN UNITED fans might agree with me about how their team works. ONCE AGAIN, NO OFFENCE TO MAN UNITED FANS!
